Youth tells the story of Roberto (Riccardo Scamarcio), an ambitious young lawyer who is betrothed to Sara (Valeria Solarino) and thinks his life is planned out. But whilst working in a small Tuscan town, he meets and becomes immediately enchanted by the gorgeous and provocative Micol (Laura Chiatti)… Maturity sees successful TV anchorman Fabio (comedy-icon Carlo Verdone), a faithful husband for 25 years, swept off his feet by the intriguing Eliana (Donatella Finocchiaro), a women who is not at all what she first seems… Finally, Beyond follows Adrian (De Niro), an American art history professor who has lived in Rome since his divorce, whose peaceful existence is about to be disrupted by his doorman Augusto's (Michele Placido) ebullient daughter Viola (Bellucci)… Meanwhile, a taxi-driving cupid (Emanuele Propizio) navigates the streets of Rome. |
