The Oscar-winning writer behind the 1989 classic Dead Poets Society will be among the speakers at the National Screenwriters Conference in Victoria.
Tom Schulman will be joined by fellow Oscar-winner Emile Sherman, producer of The King's Speech, at the Australian Writers' Guild event on the Mornington Peninsula next month.
The biennial event will also feature Shameless creator Paul Abbott and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert writer-director Stephen Elliott.
'We're very excited to assemble such an extravagant number of high calibre speakers to inspire and share their expertise in the art of storytelling,' AWG President Jan Sardi said in a statement.
