Russell Crowe has finally been reunited with his family, spotted arriving in Sydney and visiting the home of estranged wife Danielle Spencer where his children live.

The New Zealand-born actor has been in New York City recently shooting the fantasy movie 'Winter's Tale' alongside Colin Farrel.

After spending the morning on the film's set the 48-year-old flew to Sydney to walk the red carpet for Les Miserables - and says he's looking forward to some quality time with his boys Charles and Tennyson.

Crowe and Spencer announced they were splitting up in October after a nine-year union.

His demanding workload is alleged to have contributed to their marital problems.
