The alter egos of Jane Turner (Kath) and Gina Riley (Kim) have turned it on for the paprazzi at the Sydney premier of their movie Kath Kimderella.
Kath Kim the movie premiered on Tuesday night at the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.
Kim paraded the red carpet in a light blue sequin dress, lapping up the spotlights next to mum Kath, who was dressed in a white 'onesie' and belt.
"I'm doing the onesie, the glamour onesie because, I mean they're huge at the moment aren't they? They're everywhere,' Kath said.
'I'm going bright white for Sydney specially because Sydney is sort of a ritzy, ditzy, tizzy town.'
It's the first time Kath and Kim have made it to the silver screen.
In the movie the pair find themselves living it up in Positano after Kath wins a trip to Italy.
Kim said she had to fight off the affections of many Italian men, 'they're only human', but preferred the culture back home in the suburbs.
'I was happy to get back to Fountain Lakes because we've got a faux Colosseum, we've got a faux Leaning Tower of Pizza - that's actually our pizza shop - and you know the coffee's better at Croutons By The Bay.'
Kath and Kel said the film was a documentary home movie dreamed up in the bedroom.
'It's a bit of a feel good Shire,' said Kath on the red carpet.
The girls arrived at the premiere in a Hummer with long-suffering friend Sharon, who sparkled in a gold glitter tracksuit, netball skirt and bib.
Kim's husband Brett was noticeable absent.
'brett and me had a fight in the car on the way here and he's walking home. I'm gropeable at him actually," Kim said.
Kath and Kimderella opens in cinemas nationally on September 6.
