Myanmar's cinemas welcomed 'Titanic 3D' to their screens on Friday.
The tragic love story is the first 3D Hollywood film to be shown in the country and crowds are responding well.
Reuters reports the first session was nearly sold out at the 300-seat Yangon Mingalar theatre, with a strong crowd of university students and young adults snapping up tickets.
Many had already seen the movie, originally released in 1997, but went to experience it again in 3D.
'I had never watched Titanic in 3D before. I came here to see it because I don't know what kind of feeling I will get. Although I've seen Titanic on DVD many times before, I came here to see how I will feel,' 24-year old Saw Pyae Maung told Reuters.
The 3D blockbuster will be shown at Mingalar's theatres until August 23.
