Matthew Broderick has revived his iconic character from the 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off for a Honda CR-V advertisement, which is set to air during the Super Bowl.
Broderick appears as himself in the ad, calling his agent and faking an illness to spend the day cruising around Los Angeles in his CR-V.
The Bueller-esque adventure that follows sees Broderick stop at at a museum, an amusement park, and even a Chinese New Year Parade.
The ad features numerous homages and subtle nods to the John Hughes-directed comedy, including the song 'Oh Yeah,' which plays during the film's closing credits.
The spoof has recieved millions of hits on YouTube, but has garnered a mixed reaction from fans.
Some have rejoiced the return of the iconic school-ditching teen, while others have accused the star of selling-out.
