Olsen twin treated for kidney infection
Mary-Kate Olsen was being treated in a Manhattan hospital on Tuesday for a kidney infection.
The 21-year-old actor checked into the hospital on Monday night, her publicist, Nicole Caruso, said in an email to The Associated Press. She didn't identify where Olsen was admitted.
"She has a kidney infection," Caruso said.
"She is resting comfortably and will be released in the next day or so."
Olsen rose to fame in the sitcom Full House in a shared role with her twin sister, Ashley.
She recently starred in the television show, Weeds.
She co-stars with Ben Kingsley in The Wackness, slated for release next year.
